Maine, But no Lobstah This Time

I flew a few people from the Greenbrier Community (they sell homes on the Hotel property staring at a very affordable 4.2 Million--not kidding on this one) up to Bangor ME for a day trip. Nice fun if you can afford it. I take it that this was more of a golf/shopping trip since we didn't fly into the more to be expected Bar Harbor.

At the hold short line for 4. Filed for FL250 for the two and a half hour flight.

Just off the ground at Lewisburg KLWB. We'll arrive at just about noon and unloAd into a couple of waiting SUV's.

Here we are--or nearly so. The coast of Maine over there to our right. I was able to enjoy a few minutes of conversation with my pax during the flight--they are going to Bangor to participate in an amateur duplicate Bridge competition. If you've never heard of it, think of chess, only vastly more complex.

Bangor down there and KBGR seconds ahead.

Just at touchdown.
"Very smooth landing captain. Thank you.
Glad to oblige ma'am, professional pilot at work."

Sort of an antique aircraft over there. Several B-52's stationed here. Maine Air National Guard base.

Looks like you had a good trip. Nice to see the BUFF - a plane in which 3 generations of pilots have flown!
